EagleEye arrived to the Space Force base in California

The largest and most advanced Polish satellite will undergo final functional tests before integration with the Falcon 9 rocket. The satellite's launch is scheduled for mid-year. Launch date will be announced at a later time by the launch service provider, SpaceX.

KP Lab's Leopard DPU is going to ISS

Experiment "LeopardISS" will be part of the Polish mission to the International Space Station scheduled for early 2025. Leopard Data Processing Unit (DPU) will operate directly from the ISS, testing AI and machine learning algorithms in real space conditions.

PCI's Deeptech Accelerator takes off

Up to PLN 400 thousand in funding for young startups! The project is implemented with funds from the European Funds for Modern Economy program. On March 13, an informational meeting was held at the PCI headquarters.

Extremo Tech among NCBR-NAP winners

The National Center for Research and Development has selected 10 companies to participate in accelerators in Nevada and California. Now the opportunity has opened up for them to make their mark on the US and global markets.

RARR inaugurated the Start in... project

The project aims to support innovative ventures and the development of entrepreneurship in the macro-region of Eastern Poland. The inaugural conference was held on February 28 at the Aeropolis Science and Technology Park in Jasionka.

Work on Polish space law will resume

The Space Technology Cluster has representatives in the working group on the Space Activities Law. We are pleased that the work is to be resumed.

 

 

PIAP Space in ESA's ARGONAUT mission

PIAPSpace will develop a prototype (breadboard) of a robotic arm for the European Space Agency - ESA's lunar delivery mission ARGONAUT. The name of the mission is also the name of a versatile lunar lander.

Cluster at SATSDIFACTION workshop

Co-fund by the Interreg EU programme, SATSDIFACTION project aims at promoting evidence-based governance by using satellite data in local and regional spatial data infrastructures. The Cluster was represented by Noemi Zabari, CEO of Astroteq.

Thorium expands partnership with Sivers Semiconductors

Under the second phase of the $2.9 million contract, the companies will focus on joint development and validation of chipsets designed in the initial phase of the collaboration.

Scanway telescope after successful tests

Scanway telescope has passed functional tests. Scanway provides the EagleEye project with the largest fully designed and constructed Earth observation telescope in Poland to date, with unique technical parameters

 

 

Creotech with satellite contract

Creotech Instruments has signed a €400,000 contract with OHB System AG to prepare a satellite based on the HyperSat platform. Creotech is part of an international consortium led by OHB that will carry out the mission for the European Space Agency (ESA).

Funding for SUBCOM Project

Consortium Thorium Space and Łukasiewicz - Aerospace Institute received funding from the NCBR, under the Fast Track Phased Projects program for the SUBCOM project - an innovative communications system for space and rocket applications.

Ka-band satcom terminal launched

The GISS ManPack Cobalt terminal, developed and built in Poland, offers an innovative, portable and fully modular VSAT system to provide flexibility and reliability in the most demanding applications i.e. military mobility, crisis response and disaster relief.

Liftero attracted investors

Liftero wants to distribute satellites in orbit around the Earth. They have already designed a tugboat equipped with a propulsion system of their own devising

 

 

Groundbreaking Thorium project

In mid-November this year, Poland officially joined ESA's optional programs, and on November 29/30 - Thorium Space SA was added to the HummingSAT program - a new product line of european small telecommunications satellites for geostationary orbit (GEO).

New Space Cluster Member

The Space Research Center of the Department of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems of Wrocław University of Technology (CBK WEFiM), was established on January 1, 2023. Read more about the Center's goals.

Creotech will implement the Twardowski project

A Polish consortium led by Creotech Instruments was selected by the ESA to prepare Phase 0/A for Europe's most important lunar mapping mission. The goal is to provide precise data to enable the use of resources on the surface of Earth's natural satellite.

New Scanway partnership

The subject of the collaboration between Marble Imaging GmbH and Scanway S.A. will be the joint development of a multispectral payload for the microsatellite Earth observation constellation being developed by Marble Imaging.

 

 

3W Congress. Find out more

The 3rd ed. of the 3W Congress will bring together specialists in the fields of water, hydrogen, and  carbon technologies, becoming one of the most important events for innovators in this part UE.

Idea 3W and Cluster signed MoU

Welcome to Life and Space Conference 2023

We are pleased to invite you to extraordinary event - the 3rd edition of the Life and Space Conference organized by the Polish Astrobiology Society, the member of the Space Technology Cluster.

New Rocket and Satellite Propulsion Center

The goal of the Rocket and Satellite Propulsion Laboratory Center is to develop, qualify and test the latest technologies related to rocket propulsion, satellites and other aspects of space technology.

Aerospace Institute in ESA rocket project

The goal of the project is to develop and test an aerospike nozzle rocket motor demonstrator for planetary lander applications, powered by liquid oxygen and liquid methane, with a 5-6kN thrust.

 

 

Second test flight of Polish Perun rocket

SpaceForest Perun suborbital rocket launch was carried out from the Central Air Force training ground in Ustka. This time the system reached an altitude of 12 km above the Earth's surface.

Cluster at the establish the Central Hydrogen Valley

The Laszczynski Brothers Central Hydrogen Valley was ceremoniously established in Kielce. Among the assumptions is the production of green energy from wind and solar farms and hydrogen electrolyzers.

Scanway went public

The NewConnect listing saw the issue of almost 1.3 million shares. An initial public offering (IPO) took place in June 2023, raising PLN 9 million from investors.

 

 

The "SpaceShip" Foundation joins the Space Cluster

The "SpaceShip" Foundation focuses on space and robotics education. In cooperation with partners runs an interdisciplinary educational program about space - "Cosmic Challenge".

NASA Space Apps Challenge Rzeszów Winners selected!

For 2 days, almost 100 participants created innovative projects in response to the challenges set by NASA. The jury selected the authors of the most interesting solutions from among 26 teams.
